Review for Creed Royal Water

Most people I\'ve seen reviewing Creed fragrances usually skip this one, they barely mention it or describe it as forgettable and even though it\'s really nice I get where they\'re coming from however, Creed\'s Royal Water is very clean, nice and classy.\n\nIt opens with a nice citrus blast followed by a big dose of Juniper Berry and a hint of Basil, once again all very bright and classy and very safe and that\'s my only complaint (if you can call it that). I\'d hope for something a little more daring, a little more exciting and Royal Water seems a little bland or plain, it won\'t offend anybody though, you may not get any compliments but EVERYONE will remember how good you smell.\n\nGreat office wear, very distinguished but the key word here is \'uncomplicated\', it does nothing exciting, it doesn\'t go out of its way but what it does it does goes a long way

Review for Creed Royal Mayfair

With Royal Mayfair what I get the most is Eucalyptus and somehow I was hoping for that as I love the note, it does bring me back memories of my grandmother’s house. I also get rose, gin and pine with a soft cedar backbone. This is certainly a classy and gentlemanly fragrance with a very old school vibe, I don’t see a youngster wearing it or hardly anyone on a casual setting, this seems aimed at a more formal environment.\n\nPerformance wise I was disappointed at first, projection was next to none and after 4 hours it faded away however, after the 3rd or 4th time I wore it this changed somehow. I now get 8-9 hours with a very decent projection. Royal Mayfair is right there by Royal Oud as 2 of my top faves from Creed.

Review for Parfums De Marly Sedley

Sedley smells like a shower gel, like a very expensive shower gel for that matter. Sedley is clearly on the safe side, it\'s crowd pleasing and an easy grab for sure and I don\'t mean this in a bad way.\nThis is an amazing summer scent, one that\'s refreshing, that is office safe and you can also wear casually and to be honest I find it the best freshie from PDM.\n\nIt\'s not challenging at all but on the high heat you want simple and this one performs great.

Review for Acqua Di Parma Colonia Intensa

I hardly ever considered an ADP fragrance in my collection mainly because I was under the impression that they were overpriced and very poor performers (perhaps because of the EDC concentration) still Colonia Club has caught my attention due to its Lavender and Mint combo however, if I was going to get Colonia Club I wasn\'t getting the actual ADP experience as Club strays way from the rest of the Colonia line so I decided to start with something more traditional and then try Club.\n\nThat being said I did a lot of comparisons between Intensa, Pura, Assoluta and Colonia OG. Colonia was out as it has the lowest performance rating of them all but long story short I went with Intensa and I\'m starting to think I made the right choice. Colonia Intensa starts off with a citrus blast as expected but in no time turns spicy and it\'s just gorgeous, this is a masterful blend of Citrus, Spices, Leather and Wood by no other than Alberto Morillas and Francois Demachy. To my nose what I get the most is citrus, cardamom, ginger and leather and it\'s heavenly, it\'s refreshing yet warm perhaps not the best for a hot summer day but more versatile and much more than just a summer juice.\n\nPerformance is better than expected, so far I\'m on the 7th hour and my gf can still smell it, the scent is strong even though the scent bubble is very small and sitting pretty close to the skin. This is a great release by Acqua di Parma

Review for Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Absolu Instinct

did enjoy Absolu, it\'s a little younger than what I\'m wearing lately but it\'s a lovely fragrance for those hot summer days, not a huge fan but perfectly adequate. It\'s just nothing extraordinary yet better than all those Invictus Aqua look-alike.\n\nAbsolu Instinct on the other hand is on the mature side, it feels like a course correction considering it has some Absolu in it but it does go back to some familiar vibes, it kinds of like they wanted a bit of Profumo in the Absolu formula.\nI love what Alberto Morillas did here, there\'s a nice juicy lemon on the opening that quickly tones down but never fades, it lays low but every now and then it reappears. There\'s also a marine feel (seaweed and aquatic notes) but it\'s all about the woods and patchouli, the ebony wood provides a darker feel that I love.\n\nPerformance is nice, I get between 7 to 9 hrs with nice projection, not a room filler but this is a scent you want to keep closer cause if you overspray you can offend other people (I am an oversprayer).

Review for Parfums De Marly Kalan

I read Kalan was very challenging and I liked everything they said about it on many youtube channels so once I found the right price I went ahead and blind bought. At first I regretted my decision, Kalan was weird and where is that sweetness people keep taking of? Yeah I get some lavender, some green notes and a little citrus, very medicinal so I went into 3 phases:\n\n1st wear: I don’t love it, it’s hardly a like. I get why some people hate it, I don’t hate it but I am a little disappointed. I still get just lavender, green and citrus.\n\n2nd wear: ok, it’s now a solid ‘like‘. I get spices and a little citrus, love that lavender and moss and I get some woods and a subtle hint of sweetness.\n\n3rd wear: can’t stop smelling myself, this is now an easy ‘love’! I can’t stop getting whiffs of that roasted tonka and I’m crazy about it. I’m getting a lot more than I originally did in my first couple of wears and it became a top 5 PdM for sure.\n\nLongevity is insane with a great projection, I went to bed after wearing all evening and it was still so intense I woke up a coupke of time from the smell, no kidding and it was still there in the morning. (Now) I don’t regret this purchase for a second but this is not blind buy worthy, it’s certainly not for everyone.
