Review for Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison
Cyanide sublimation. This is currently my favorite scent. It does open with a rich root beer note - so much so, I can feel the bubbles in my nose. Then you get the almonds... the bitter almonds that signify that signature cyanide, and honestly, you’re ready to die for it. The creamy vanilla holds this grand, intoxicating potion together. I can smell it 9 hours after first spritz. Fitting for a femme fatale.

Review for La Rive Sweet Hope Perfume for Women
I absolutely love Hypnotic Poison. This is similar, but I notice the differences. HP opens with effervescent root beer, so much so that I can almost feel the bubbles in my nose. This has the root beer, but much softer and it dissipates very quickly. It turns into a nice safe gourmand almost instantly. HP has more of an edge to all the notes - it’s more exciting, to me. I’ll be comfortable wearing this one to sleep.

Review for La rive Fleur de Femme Perfume for Women
Clearly a dupe of Poison Girl, and a decent one, but not as nuanced. PG starts citrusy and opens into the fruit / vanilla center over a little time. Fleur punches immediately into the chocolatey- cherry sweet center with no foreplay at all.

Review for Lancome La Nuit Tresor EDP Spray
All the notes are everything I love. \n\nThe first spray is very strong. Very. I’d recommend one light spritz for the wrists. It’s jammy and floral with a punch of patchouli. That mixture seriously projects.\n\nIt finally calms down nicely after a few hours and the soft gourmand presents itself. This fragrance almost dares you to wear it.

Review for Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire for Women EDP Refill Spray
This is so beautiful. The bergamot and berries are a little strong at first, but just momentarily. Then it softens with the almond and the roses and the cherries... just gorgeous. There’s a comforting, softly spiced vanilla in the dry down. I want this perfume to be my best friend.

Review for Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto for Women EDP Spray
I like this one, too. I think I’m becoming obsessed; this is the second flanker I’ve purchased, along with the original. \n\nYou can smell the original EDP here - it’s the foundation. But I get almost a burning ember smell - I guess it’s the leather? It’s like adding salt to caramel; it makes it deeper and richer. I like it a lot.

Review for Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche Perfume
This is a very nice flanker. The base of cherry, vanilla and tea is there but everything is lighter and there’s a green, fresh note. Definitely eau fraiche.

Review for Thierry Mugler Angel Eau Sucree Perfume
The pepper punches me in the nose immediately- seriously, it irritates my nasal passages so I have to let it settle a bit. Then, as listed, I get sweet woody patchouli. It’s quite nice, high quality, and blended well.
