Review for Parfums De Marly Herod for Men
I love tobacco fragrances and Herod is no exception. Although I feel it\'s been over-hyped a bit. Of the tobacco fragrances that I own, I do prefer Pure Havane and Spicebomb Extreme. They are much stronger and have better performance to me. But Herod is still very pleasing, perhaps a lighter version, not overpowering. A well-blended, smooth combo of tobacco and vanilla; I don\'t like vanilla to be overpowering. In certain situations where you don\'t want a stronger scent, Herod may fit the purpose.

Of the 7 PDM fragrances I have sampled (including Layton), Layton Exclusif is my favorite. Pretty sure it will be one my most-worn scents during fall and winter.

Still the best. It’s the most copied fragrance of all time for a good reason. Got a 2017 batch from maxaroma and it smells fantastic, preforms great. 8 plus hours on my skin. All in all it’s still the best fragrance on the market as far as masculine scents go.
