Have you ever walked passed a house that had recently burned? I mean, the fire department put out the flames just hours before you go by? Growing up in New York I can tell you I have, and the burnt wood smoke smell this perfume gives off on the initial is exactly that. They weren\'t kidding about the burning part. Once you get past the shock of the intense smokiness, the perfume settles into a undertone of a cirtusy lavender (which is weird because citrus is not mentioned in the notes). I can definitely get the barbershop vibe behind the concept. Be careful of the smoke opening though, as it can be a bit off putting to the uninitiated nose. Overall it\'s not a bad scent, but not I would recommend to the average person looking to get mass appeal and overall compliments. I bought the sample. If this one ever goes on sale I am definitely buying.

I ordered travel sizes of 6 different Initio scents (Rehab, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka, High Frequency, Absolute Aphrodisiac, and Oud for Greatness). This is my favorite. They all seem to have a similar base, like you can tell they are from the same house, but each have different top notes. OFG smells incredible, and lasts for hours. In fact, I could smell it on my jacket for a MONTH after the last time I wore it!
