It opens with very clean top note of mandarin orange ,fresh and appealing ,later arise a nice clean scent with a good longevity, it finish with a warm musk skin scent note. Good sillage for the first 3 to 4 hours.

Got this blind together with its twin, the original Layton. Did not regret buying it at all. It is the more opulent version of its brother that is to be worn on more special settings or for night outs. You can have these Layton Twins as the only bottles in your collection and they should cover most, if not all, of the occasions that you need to wear a cologne. And Max Aroma makes it easier to own them with their fantastic prices especially during promotions!

This is very close to Byredo Bal d\'Afrique and Hermes Vetiver Tonka but at a much much lower price. This is the reason I don\'t see the need to buy the two more expensive scents I mentioned and save my money for other bottles : ). Longevity is not great, around 6 hours but I am not complaining as I bought the 200ml tester and I can respray mid-day without thinking much of the cost. \nAnother great buy from Max Aroma!
