At opening, it’s almost a molecule scent but 5 minutes later, perfume haven opened up. The Orris reacts and just gushes off your skin. So smooth and sensual. Not like Dior Homme Orris but it’s buttery smooth and elegant. Get this for sure. It was a blind buy for me. Definitely worth it.

Given that popularity, I now see how it has worked its way into countless other scents, as companies have tried to play off of this unique scent. 4 stars only because it is so well known. Review for Creed Green Irish Tweed
If you're a fan of green and fresh scents, combined with the allure of the history behind a 250 + year old fragrance house, you'll be very pleased with this scent. My brother and I often have very different taste when it comes to scents. He and I sat down to smell about 12 different scents together, from a variety of companies, all at once. The moment he smelled a clone of GIT, his eyes lit up and he said, "This is my favorite!" One of the very few things we agree upon! :) Can't wait for him to smell the original as well, given that clone was so close, I'm sure we will agree on the original as well!

This is a hard one. I'm fascinated by history and tradition, so very much appreciate the history of Creed itself, and then add to that, the history associated with this scent's most famous wearer. The history makes me enjoy this more than other, similar scents. However, my wife tells me it's way too old school, and can't enjoy smelling it on me. I'm torn!

Having heard such wondrous reviews by several online reviewers, I decided to buy the 6oz as a blind buy, given Maxaroma's pricing (thank you, MaxAroma!). My initial response upon smelling was that this was an older style, reminding me of something my dad wore in the 80s and 90s. I was tempted to give up on this one, but continued to try it over several weeks and am glad I did. There's so much going on in this one, and each wear gives something new to consider. A unique journey...our journeys!
