XJ 1861 Renaissance by Xerjoff is a citrusy-fresh scent that was released in 2011. The opening consists of fresh top notes of Calabrian bergamot, tangerine and lemon. An enchanting heart of Bulgarian rose, mint and blossoming Lily of the Valley represents the exquisite and varied beauty of Italy while classically warm Xerjoff renaissance basenotes of cedar wood, patchouli, amber and musk dance across.

Its name pays tribute to centuries of history in the family-owned company Xerjoff - which was established in 1927. Xerjoff was an enthusiastic traveller and Italian art enthusiast from early on and it was in Rome that he started his business career as a global merchant of rare gems.
